Other requirements reported under the new regime include disclosure of ultimate beneficial owners, fit-and-proper checks on management, and documented anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer programs with transaction monitoring.
A Curaçao license issued today falls under these rules, and Rexbet’s does too.
Where Canadian Law Fits
A Curaçao license authorises an operator to offer gambling internationally under Curaçao law. It does not make a site licensed in Canada. The country divides the topic between levels of government: the federal Criminal Code prohibits most gambling unless a province or territory conducts and manages it, with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission as a separate case. Each province then decides how online gambling works inside its borders.

The CGA issues two kinds of certificate. A Certificate of Operation covers one player-facing domain, and the document shown above is Rexbet’s, for rexbet.com. A License Certificate confirms that an entity holds a license, but it is not tied to a domain and does not authorize a website to operate. The two are not interchangeable.
Rexbet’s terms say the CGA oversees licensing and supervision but does not adjudicate individual player complaints or provide arbitration.
